DTG Review- Tron Evolution (PS3)

"A prequel to the upcoming sci-fi extravaganza Tron: Legacy; the eye-popping, ear-ringing, 3D behemoth, Tron: Evolution is also a sequel to the 1982 film from Steven Lisberger, Tron. For all its self-aggrandisement and somewhat tacky exterior, Tron came at a time of paranoia and apprehension in wake of technological advances. Thus, the story of one Neville Flynn being encased in a virtual world after an unwanted digitisation was a new leap in sci-fi, away from space operas and alien invasion movies. Evolution has the heralded position of being a videogame that is based on a film that is based on being trapped inside a videogame, but intends to serve the Tron universe much more favourably than you would have come to imagine from another tie-in from Disney Interactive Studios, who have a heap of tacky titles to stick to their name (Hannah Montana, Cars). But coming from Propaganda Games, who have just seen..."
