
The future of the Chronicles of Narnia series has swayed in doubt of continuation in recent years. It seems that audiences aren't as overwhelmed with anticipation by high-budget, CG-laden, kid's fantasy films as much as they used to have been. We've seen in recent years the likes of Phillip Pullman's The Golden Compass brought to screen, only losing its magic to poor box office takings that found the series in a state of quandary. The second Narnia film, Prince Caspian, received much of the same hard shoulder upon release in 2008 (although it still became the 10th highest-grossing film of the same year)...
